No blogs for a while...

we're moving in a week or so, and then unpacking, and then getting ready to go to yosemite for a week's vacation in the woods....kind of. Anyway, here's a few images of the new Barton house

A weekend at the beach

To celebrate Matthew's end of school, and the beginning of summer, we escaped the June gloom up by our house and went to the beach.

It started off very Englishy with some time at the rock pools, looking at crabs and picking shells.

Meghan loved the fact that the hotel had a kids' pool with three water slides....

Matthew must have been on the pool slides for 4 hours straight......stopped only to eat.

Meghan's Spring Fling

Meghan's dance group had a casual recital a few weeks ago. She does enjoy all this!

Matthew's first visit to Dodger stadium

Matthew had been a diamondback for the whole of his tball season, so this was his chance to see them play for real.


He insisted on shouting for the diamondbacks in the middle of the dodger section.

He had a great time, and was very happy the diamondbacks won!
