Meghan in charge....

As you can imagine, turning 4 has only increased my ability to manipulate others - in my sweet way of course - to do stuff for me.

First I convinced Brooke - a 7 yr old on our street - to lend me the pink scooter thing.....

Second I allowed her to do all the hardwork and take me for a ride......

Third I got Brooke's older brother, Dustin, to fetch the ping pong balls I decided to hit across the cul-de-sac...which he did gladly......

....and who says we girls don't get our own way....

...oh and here's my little friend Hope....

Soccer season over

The day after his birthday, Matthew's U8 soccer season - and likely his soccer career - ended. He enjoyed his last game, even though they lost. Warm up before the game started poorly - look for Matthew's white ball.

...but he got it back and shot for goal....

...however Daddy (linesman for the game) had to remind him he couldn't use
"the force" in real life.....

....however he looked good playing .....

....The trophy and celebration for Team Fireballs was the best part though.

...Mommy and Daddy are just glad to get our Tues and Fri evenings, and Saturdays back!

Matthew turns 7

My big brother turned 7 on November 20. Mommy says a lot has happened in those 7 years! This year he was all about star wars, lego and the latest craze of firing foam pellets from 'nerf' guns. He had a good morning opening his presents before school, and then headed to Disneyland with Daddy and me in the afternoon to get his free Disney dollars.....which he used to buy star wars stuff....big surprise!

Then in the early evening he celebrated with 9 friends from church and school at a laser tag/mini golf/pizza place.....Laser Island. As the following photos will show, he is your typical 7 year old boy.

Daddy's birthday cake project for Matthew this year was R2-D2. He requested a Imperial stardestroyer weeks ahead of time, which changed to R2-D2 3 days before his birthay. Three cake mixes and almost 3 hours of icing later.....Daddy enjoys it though....he says it is continuing a Barton tradition....whatever that means.

Disneyland

For our birthdays, Mommy and daddy took us to Goofy's kitchen for lunch and then we had a fun afternoon at Disneyland....always fun. We never get bored....

Meghan turns 4

So after the countdown it was finally my birthday. I had such a fun day opening presents in mommy and daddy's bed,

...... trip to Disneyland, where we ran into Gracie!

...and Daddy's attempt at my cake request. Pretty huh?

and then a family birthday party...

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year as Princess Aurora and a Jedi Knight. Nana and Grandpa came to see us, and then we went to chruch for a fun evening of games and candy!
