100 years of scouting

This year is 100 years of scouting in America. Yesterday, Matthew's pack had their Blue and Gold celebration. Matthew also earned his Bobcat badge, which is the first progression for a new cub scout. Nana, Grandpa, me, mommy and some friends were there to see him get his awards........

He carried the tiger flag into the hall, as part of the color guard

...got super embarrassed.....

......and raced homemade space rockets. It was a lot of fun.

Matthew and Haiti

I am so proud of my big brother! He spoke in both of our church services on Sunday, with Daddy, about his idea of helping the children in Haiti. Thinking about all the kids in Haiti that don't have pajamas, he came up with an idea of a pajama-thon at church. All the children at church will wear PJs on Sunday 28th and together with the church will raise money to send to Haiti, through Compassion International. He did such a good job, and we were all so proud. I stayed in church especially to hear him. He was funny too, and he and Daddy even got the pastor to committ to wearing his PJs too. Here’s a video about Haiti from Compassion International.

Last visit to Disneyland before our passes ran out

Seeing pluto for the last time in a while. Be interesting to look back because i'm convinced there is another photo like this from a couple of years ago. Matthew is so tall in this picture

Matthew dressed up in his jedi outfit.....

....and I had a lot to say to Rosetta, one of Tinkerbell's fairy friends...

This is my first time with Aladdin and Jasmine. Those boy characters do make me nervous though...

We have lots of fun disney memories from our two years' of passes :)
